About this property

Neat and high-ceilinged one bedroom conversion apartment with Freehold-share. Permit-parking (via Southwark) is on-street for residents. Denmark Hill Station is but a five minute walk.

In your own front door and your shower room is set to your left. This is high-end and hotel-feel.

It’s straight ahead for your bedroom, which has sliding doors to your reception room. Large east-facing windows keep matters bright. Your fitted kitchen seals the deal, with a separate utility cupboard.

You are in wonderful Camberwell Grove Conservation Area heartland here, very close to central Camberwell and to Denmark Hill Station (Fare Zone 2). Central Peckham is an easy walk as well: 15 minutes.

Boasting impressive architecture (Georgian in the main), Camberwell Grove - the worthy star of a charming episode of the BBC series ‘The Secret History of Our Streets’ (2016) - follows the line of a grove of mesmerising mature plane trees which once led from a Tudor manor house which afforded an excellent view of the City of London, just three miles to the north.

For local public green spaces, you are really close to St. Giles Churchyard and Lucas Gardens, with Lettsom Gardens, Myatt’s Fields, and Brunswick and Ruskin Parks but a short walk too. Brockwell Park, Peckham Rye Park & Common, Burgess Park and even Dulwich and Greenwich Parks are also all easily reached.

Central Camberwell has a strong - and getting stronger - foodie/drinks scene. Some of our favourite places are The Camberwell Arms, Silk Road, Nandine, Theo’s, Gladwell’s, Forza, Little Cellars, toad (bakery) and Veraison Wines.

You have got good pubs locally, too: Grove House Tavern, The Kerfield, Hermits Cave, The Crooked Well, Stormbird, The Phoenix (by the station) and The Tiger are all friendly.

Zen Yoga Studio is close, as is Butterfly Tennis Club. Camberwell’s leisure centre is nearby too - with two pools and gym facilities in a Victorian setting.

Peckham’s close as we’ve mentioned - Peckham’s night and high life includes rooftop bars atop Peckham Levels and The Bussey Building. Peckham Plex Cinema is great (and there is a Picturehouse cinema on East Dulwich's Lordship Lane).

Bellenden Road’s best spots include The General Store, The Sourcing Table, The Begging Bowl, Artusi and Ganapati. For more options, Dulwich, Herne Hill and Brixton are all close.
