Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman
Whitehall Drive was constructed in the early 1990's and since its inception has always been a very popular road. It is notable for its large plots, generous off road parking arrangements, attractive spacing between houses and the lack of leaseholds or management companies. In many respects its popularity has increased in recent years, as all these benefits compare very favourably with more modern new build estates in the village.
The road is ideally located within Hartford village being within walking distance of the village centre whilst also being well positioned away from both the bypass and railway line. The net effect is a position that combines outstanding convenience with surprising tranquillity.
The house has been significantly improved by the present owners and the overall result is a very appealing family home with instant appeal. The changes made include redecoration throughout, the upgrading of the conservatory to a garden room and the complete remodelling of the kitchen and utility room so as to provide a modern day family layout The garage whilst a little smaller than its original design, can still fit a car plus provides storage space.
There are four reception rooms, so the versatility is very notable and with four bedrooms, an en suite and a large family bathroom on offer upstairs, there is more than ample provision for a large family. The size of the main bedroom is particularly impressive.
Externally there is driveway parking and an ev charging point whilst the south east facing garden to the rear is a real feature, being private mature and secluded.
