Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman
Sometimes in estate agency you are selling a finished product which can be moved into immediately. But occasionally you are afforded the chance to market a property that is not about what it is now but much rather what it will become. That is really exciting and never is there a better example than the subject property, known as the Gables.
The location is outstanding, being tranquil and beautiful. The site extends to around half an acre and comprises a detached house of substantial size being both the main house and subsequent more modern annexe. The whole is now in need of complete redevelopment and subject to planning permission being granted, it seems probable that a new owner will seek to demolish all that is presently on site and replace with a new state of the art contemporary residence. It should though be noted that the annexe is only twenty years old so may have more scope to be retained.
Such a purchase opportunity is very rare and in many ways extraordinary and I anticipate significant market attention.
