The house has been thoughtfully upgraded over time to create a wonderful family house which blends delightful period character with the requirements of modern day family living.

The front door leads into a spacious reception hall which easily serves as a reception room, featuring a fireplace and access to other principal rooms. There is a sitting room with bay window and a wood-burning style gas stove and a family room. The country-style kitchen/breakfast room opens into a curved garden room/dining room from which there are wonderful views of the garden. The first floor offers four double bedrooms and two well appointed bathrooms, with two staircases allowing access to all bedrooms.

A laundry room, with external access, is well placed to be utilised by both the main house and the annexe. There is also a separate outside WC.

The Annexe
The detached annexe was constructed in recent years to provide stylish and spacious accommodation, either for overflow family space or guest accommodation.

The accommodation comprises a main kitchen/dining/living area and a double bedroom on the ground floor as well as a shower room, whilst there is a second bedroom and en suite shower room on the first floor.

Outside
The property is approached via a gate and driveway to the side of the house, with parking in front of the large single garage. The front garden features a path to the front door, which is flanked by lawn on both sides with well stocked flower borders.

To the rear is a beautiful enclosed garden, predominantly laid to lawn with numerous mature shrubs and fruit trees. There is a sizeable paved area with the ideal dining spot just under the pergola which is attractively covered with profuse wisteria and grape vine. Part of the garden features an attractive wall and there is a useful bothy. From the top of the garden there are wonderful far reaching rural views.
