Midhurst is situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park and enjoys some magnificent walking and riding opportunities. The town retains an air of a traditional market town with many attractive period buildings and an excellent range of shopping and recreational facilities, including a new leisure centre, restaurants, schools for all ages and churches for most denominations. Nearby Cowdray Park is famous for polo and also has a scenic golf course, whilst ‘Glorious’ Goodwood lies to the south of the town and offers horse racing, golf and the world famous ‘Festival of Speed’ and ‘Revival’ motoring events.
