Description
Situated within the delightful village of Cookham Dean, Hockett Corner is an attractive new build home finished in 2025. The house is beautifully presented inside and out, with landscaped gardens to the front and rear, high specification interiors and wonderfully light and spacious accommodation. The premium finish includes underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, bifold doors to the rear and a security system which includes an alarm and CCTV. There is a stylish wood and glass staircase with a lighting feature within the void and modern sash-style windows adding character. The kitchen is a particular highlight, with integrated Siemens appliances including a double oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer, as well as a Bora extractor and a Quooker hot water tap.

The layout is well designed for family life, with a generous open plan living area for day-to-day life and a separate snug-style sitting room. There is a spacious utility room off the kitchen and a separate cloakroom with WC. The first floor has two well-proportioned en suite bedrooms, a further double bedroom and a family bathroom, with two bedrooms and a shower room on the second floor. Either of the rooms to the top floor would also make a lovely games room, for those who may not require five bedrooms.

To the garden there is a superb outbuilding, being a very large double garage and a very useful extra room which would make a great gym, studio or home office, with its own WC.

Hockett Corner sits within a corner plot in a wonderfully leafy setting, with excellent kerb appeal. To the front, vibrant bushes have been planted to either side of a pedestrian gate, with steps leading down through a lawned front garden to a paved terrace which wraps around the house to the rear, where there is a fabulous space for dining outside in the warmer months. A path leads through the lawn to a good-size gated parking area, accessed from Winter Hill Road, and the detached double garage/office.

Location
Hockett Lane is situated in the delightful village of Cookham Dean, between the village of Cookham and the thriving town of Marlow. It is set within, glorious rolling countryside in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are scenic walks along the Thames Path and within the surrounding woodland, with golf, football, cricket and rugby clubs nearby.

There are three primary schools and three nursery schools situated in Cookham, with a comprehensive range of private and state schooling options in the area include Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, Beaconsfield High School, Eton, Harrow, Wycombe Abbey, Caldicot Preparatory School and some excellent schools in the Maidenhead, Marlow and Henley area.

Cookham is delightfully rural, yet perfectly positioned for access to both Marlow and Maidenhead where you will find a more extensive mix of bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as an eclectic range of local independent and national retailers.

For commuters, Cookham has a train station with a service to Paddington (via Maidenhead) in as little as 31 minutes, with an Elizabeth Line connection into central London from Maidenhead. The M40 and M4 motorways are easily accessible via the A404(M).
