Seller comments:
Having lived in this area of South Norwood for many years (i've owned the flat for about 30 years) I can say that this must be one of the greenest areas of London which is incredible when you consider just 15 mins from central London by train.

It’s one of those well-kept secrets which makes you wonder why prices are still low compared to the rest of London boroughs.

I could commute from my front door to Charing Cross in less than 30 minutes.

Our flat is in an area also known as the Norhyrst estate made up of nice 30’s houses, which are mostly well kept family houses, well-kept gardens, and friendly people.

Crystal Palace with loads of bars restaurants and a sports centre and a huge very beautiful famous Victorian park is a short bus ride up the hill, or is walkable in less than half an hour.

Harris Academy School is also an easy walk and has an excellent reputation. South Norwood is a lovely town that just hasn’t quite been discovered yet.
